July Meeting: Show your stuff and Potluck

We shared a great potluck meal and members got to show off projects they have completed or are working on.

June Meeting

The june meeting for the St.John's Roadrunners took place at the Humane Society of Kandiyohi and Meeker Counties in Willmar.  Our club went to the Humane Society to learn how to take care of pets and how the Humane Society saves lost and homeless pets.  More information about them can be found here:  http://www.thehskc.com/

As a bonus, the club members got to play with the cats  and dogs there!

Next, we moved on to Rice park for a Club Potluck.

June Meeting

What's better on a nice summer night than a potluck and rowdy game of kickball?!

The St. John's Roadrunners met on June 11th at Robbins Island.

2013 Summer 4-H Camp

A few of our 4-H club members attended the 2012 Summer 4-H Camp and had a GREAT time.  It is held at the University of Minnesota Morris for 3 days and 2 nights from June 18-20.  Bussing is provided from Willmar (and other locations as well) and all meals are included.  Some of the highlights from past campers:

• HUGE buffet
• Fun games: Bonkers, Couselor hide and seek
• Swimming
• Dorm rooms that you can pick your roommate/friend
• S'mores and campfires
• Fun classes/sessions
